The North Carolina Law Enforcement Accreditation (NCLEA) program was approved by two commissions in June 2023. Participation in the program is voluntary and free for law enforcement agencies in North Carolina. Agencies interested in pursuing accreditation through NCLEA should review the Standards Manual and Program Guide and complete the online application for review.
