Orlando, Fla. – November 1, 2020 – PowerDMS announced today a renewal of their agreement with the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) granting ambulatory care providers the ability to access AAAHC ambulatory health care Standards electronically through PowerDMS. PowerDMS – a policy, training, and accreditation management platform. The PowerDMS accreditation solution provides healthcare organizations with an intuitive tool to crosswalk their policies and procedures to AAAHC standards. PowerDMS drives survey readiness by creating a dynamic, living relationship between an organization’s compliance documents and the standards requirements. When a standard is updated, PowerDMS notifies the organization and flags which documents need review as a result of the changes.

Nearly 100 AAAHC accredited organizations currently use PowerDMS to efficiently and effectively prepare their internal documentation for their AAAHC survey. PowerDMS reminds clients to periodically review its policies so that they reflect changes in Standards, operating procedures, and best practices. In this way, PowerDMS helps contribute to the AAAHC 1095 Strong, quality everyday philosophy through which AAAHC expects accredited clients to be survey-ready every day of the three-year accreditation cycle. “Using PowerDMS, we were able to prepare for our AAAHC evaluation in only six months—a task that once took 18 months. We also saved over $139K on staffing and supply costs,” said Allis Gilbert, Director of Operations at Colorado State University Health Network.
