Deputies in York-Poquoson have recently been given new technologies to help them respond to calls and carry out their duties more effectively.
According to a news release, the Sheriff's Office uses a document management software called PowerDMS to upload maps and floor plans for classrooms, housing complexes, and government buildings that deputies may access when on the road.
