Orlando, Fla. (June 10, 2013) — PowerDMS, a leading content management software solution company, was recently named one of Metro Orlando’s “2013 Best Places to Work” by the Orlando Business Journal (OBJ).
“At PowerDMS our number one priority is creating a company culture that encourages creativity, respect and balance, and provides employees an opportunity to thrive while enjoying their time at work,” said founder and CEO, Josh Brown. “It’s an honor to be recognized as one of OBJ’s best places to work and know our employees appreciate the work environment we have created. We believe our culture will continue to allow us to recruit and retain the best and brightest workforce possible.”
Winners were selected based on how employees responded to an anonymous online survey with 37 questions on topics including teamwork, job satisfaction and benefits. Approximately 4,750 workers responded to the survey. A third-party company gathered the data for the OBJ and used a proprietary formula to rank companies based on employee feedback about their satisfaction within their workplace.
“It makes it easy to build a great service for our customers when you are surrounded by amazing people who are empowered and encouraged to use their creative talents and abilities,” said Kevin Knox, Director of Software as a Service and 10-year employee. “Knowing our young company’s and employees’ best days are still ahead makes every day seem like Friday.”
